Through this invitation, I tried to convey the soul found in soul food. I was inspired by soul and jazz music, and had the idea to make the invitation into a vinyl album, with the vinyl record looking like a vintage plate. My visual language was inspired by the Blue Note style of the 1950s and 1960s.
